Every Picture Tells A Story

As another fest season comes to a close, I thought instead of going on and on and on about how great “our boys” are, what a wonderful job they do and how much fun we have watching them, I’d let the pictures do the talking.  Besides, they must have grown weary hearing the same old accolades over and over……

As the guys approach the stage, they are reminiscent of another famous group~also very talented and lovable.

Dave, decked out in his “rocking” best…           Greg, hitting that mean guitar. (Love your      Jimmy, getting into the Oktober-

and we ain’t talking chairs!                           contribution to that “darned Santana song”                 fest spirit! (The cymbal kicking

by the way!) (Sorry about the flat top!)                              pic was a bust.)

Our Bobby, spirited and professional                     Our other Bob, doing his finger stretches                   “The Rock,” hidden by a

as always! Dang! What a smile!                                             to prepare for the show.  It was worth it                   bunch of stage junk but

because he really kicked some dupa!                                          resplendent just the

                                                                                                                                                              same! (That means

                                                                                                                                                              radiant, Lyn!)

We get by with a little help from our friends, Michael Ayres & Tommy Otto….

actually, it’s a lot of help!

And now, for the surprise guests!!!!!

The “Silver One” surprised us with                 Some say Larry’s face is his best side;            Chuck Soumar  did it up right by

a visit and a number of which he knew       we disagree!                                               performing two Ides favorites, “Vehicle”

almost all the words, “Feelin’ All Right.”                                                                    & “L.A., Goodbye.” (Chuck, you’re really

Lar, there’s only about 10 words in the                                                                       not Polish, are you?  Where are all the Z’s,

whole song!                                                                                                                 C’s & S’s, or any combination thereof?)

catch the second best act in town, check

                                                                                                                                   out:  www.theidesofmarch.com

Mark Eskin, of New Colony Six fame (among an assortment of other incarnations) and his lovely wife, Flo, hung out in the audience enjoying the show.  Look for Mark, as a member of Byte, Johnny Star and the Meteors as well as Instant Karma, to keep those long winter months hopping.  You won’t be disappointed….we guarantee it!  Mark’s website will give you links to any of the above mentioned sites for more info:  www.geocities.com/btlmark/

This couple flew in from Buffalo, N.Y., for the show…and were their arms tired!  (Been hanging around with Rocky too long!)  (I don’t think the guy in the background belonged to them.)  They have incredibly good taste in music!

The rest of the audience……

Of course, our own beloved DanzMan was                                              ….and our very favorite transplants, Amy & Cheryl.  Do you ever

on the scene, bright & early, showing off his decorated bosom.                               tire of watching them dance???? We sure don’t!

An awesome crowd…or the crowd in awe???                                     The world’s very first all male Conga line.

Bobby’s giving dance lessons????                                     Jeff  & Dave Rice couldn’t be there and we sure did miss them!  (Remind

                                                                                  you of the yearbooks?)

Sayonara, Guys!                                                                                                   Your “official website photographers” of the

                                                                                                                            semi-famous, Shamelesses 1 & 2, at your

                                                                                                                            service.  (We’re the loyal ones!)

We’d like to thank you for giving us the most wonderful summer……

On that note, we offer up two questions:

1)      What did we do before????

2)       Where have all the Folletts gone????
