Ron Brandt with a 10# Bonefish that he caught,
while on a fishing trip in Flordia April 98
with fellow band member Paul Wood.

Being held is a small but fiesty
permit. Permit, bonefish and tarpon make up the most sought after gamefish of
the ocean's flats, or backcountry. The Florida Keys is one of the most likely
spots on the planet to successfully catch all 3, a "Grand Slam", in one day. After already catching 2 bonefish and a permit on one trip, they missed a tarpon by breaking him off early in the hookup. They just missed the slam by some
frayed 6 pound test line.
Ron (on right) loves this sport!!
More to come . . .

This photo includes: L-R Ron's brother Bob, Paul, Jim Convalle and Ron. Everyone's
holding a nice Amberjack except for Ron. He has that night's dinner in his hands. A 30 pound King Mackerel. Some of the best eatin' outa the water.
These fish were caught aboard a 43' Sportfisher named Sea Boots out of
Summerland Key, Florida. The Captain is a very popular Keys skipper named Jim
Sharpe. Jim does a morning fishing show on the radio, contributes to the
local paper, has written several books on fishing and even appears on
television occaisionally.
