the band, though we were already friends through our many e-mail correspondences, and phone calls. years ago, they had us constantly laughing. The band treated us as family, and we can't remember when we have had as much fun and excitement. Sue Christenson personally drove us around while we were in Lisle, and provided us with band photo's, news clippings, and Shames' memorabilia for this homepage (Sue handles the Shames' fan mail, questions, and etc). The band sounded as great as ever! Their stage presence was as energetic and zany as it was 30 years ago. Jim and Tom frequently interacting with the audience. Jim, can still kick a cymbal 6ft. off the ground! They played all of the Shames' greatest hits and a few covers from other Chicago 60's groups. We were all sorry to see the concert end. great friend, he is also a great help as well as one of the staff on this homepage. They could not have treated us nicer. to get interviews from the rest of the members, at the Clarendon Hill's concert.
